I return to the holistic environment of Tofte Manor for my Spring 2026 retreat.
The magic of this 17th century Bedfordshire manor house lies in its beautiful landscaped gardens, its history which dates back to the Knights Templar and the warm welcome from Suzy, the owner, as she invites us to share her home with her for our weekend.
Nature surrounds you at Tofte, ancient trees stand guard in the extensive grounds, the peaceful gardens invite you to slow down and linger, tucked away in quiet spot is the labyrinth, become grounded as you walk it barefoot and take time to reflect.

Yoga to move, feel and LIVE better
Nothing in the body works in isolation, imbalance therefore affects our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Likewise, I believe in teaching yoga as a whole person practice. We will explore a holistic blend of therapeutic techniques to empower self care and promote a sense of wellbeing on all levels.
Morning practices will be active, breath led mindful movement and finish with a healthy dose of guided relaxation. Evening practices are an introspective blend of myofascial release, joint play, gentle movement & stretch and will end with breath work to prepare for yoga nidra - a guided meditation practice that leads to a state of deep relaxation. There's optional early morning guided breath work sessions for those who would like a deeper dive into the benefits of Pranayama and using the breath as a mindfulness practice.

ACCOMMODATION There's a large and comfortable drawing room to gather together before our evening meal. The music room, television room and cozy library offer smaller, quiet spots for reading or relaxing. The main house has beautifully decorated bedrooms with their own fireplaces and sumptuous beds. These bedrooms share large bathrooms equipped with both a bath & shower. The Stable Courtyard has been carefully restored into contemporary cottages. There are four ensuite double or twin- bedded rooms and another two bedrooms share a bathroom. |
FOOD All food is freshly prepared by our retreat chef April. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon " bites" are included. Teas and coffee are available during the day and also provided with meals. Dietary requirements will be accommodated. Tofte bottles its own water, it tastes delicious and is worlds away from our regular tap water. THINGS TO DO There's free time to explore your weekend home. The gardens are anchored with beautiful crystals which create a unique energy and space, perfect for relaxing and quiet time. Weather permitting, the fire pit is a great place to gather for some star gazing. Never miss the experience of walking the labyrinths, they are a catalyst for peaceful reflection. |

We have exclusive use of Tofte Manor from 2pm Friday 17th April to 5pm Sunday 19th April. The Retreat price includes:
Food and drinks other than those above Travel Costs Getting to Tofte Manor Tofte Manor is situated in the village of Sharnbrook between Cambridge and Northampton and is easily accessible by road. Tofte is approximately an hours drive from London, an hour and a half from Oxford, Bucks & Essex and just under 3 hours from Manchester. Bedford is the nearest train station. Taxis are available at the station. |
